Principal’s Welcome
Lucindale Area School is an R-12 school committed to individual student success, recognising the importance of holistic learning. We foster continuous curriculum improvement, encouraging the learning of individuals. Students develop a broad range of competencies and skills including recognised sporting programs.
With the motto, ‘School and Community Working Together’, the school is viewed passionately and is perceived as the life giving hub of the community and launching pad for students into the future – supported by industry and service groups. The school’s values are respect for others, respect for ourselves and responsibility.
While offering academic curricula to Year 12, the school has a strong agricultural focus supported by excellent facilities and staff. Agriculture is studied by all middle school students, while primary agriculture classes focus on environmental agriculture education. A Senior Certificate in Agriculture is offered to Year 11 and 12 students and attracts local students, as well as students from outside the district.
The school boasts a boarding house facility, under the SA Rural Students Accommodation Program, providing a unique experience for students to experience the supportive and caring culture that exists within our school.
